Bequia is the largest island in the Grenadines at 7 sq miles (18 km2).

It is part of the country of St. Vincent and the Grenadines and is approximately 9.3 miles (15km) from the nation's capital, Kingstown, on the main island, St. Vincent.

Bequia means "island of the clouds" in the ancient Carib language. The current population is between 5000-7000 people. This small population can make Bequia the perfect holiday destination if you need to "escape".
